Dear Patients and Families,
On May 18th, Governor Baker announced plans for reopening in phases.
For dental offices, Phase 1 of the reopening process starts on May 25th. When Phase 1 begins, dental practices will be able to treat patients with emergent symptoms or likely to become emergent symptoms if care is deferred. Dental cleanings that involve health risk to the patient if delayed (bleeding gums, chronic periodontal disease, history of diabetes, etc.) are given priority at this time. Routine cleanings in healthy patients and other elective procedures (cosmetic dentistry, whitening, etc.) are delayed until Phase 2 of the reopening plan at a date yet to be determined.
We are aware many of you have already reschedule appointments several times in the last two months and we appreciate your patience and cooperation.
In the upcoming days, you will receive or you may already have received a call from one of our patient coordinator to inform you of the schedule change. We want to thank you again for your patience and your trust in Super Smiles. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have. As always, your safety is of the utmost importance to us. We wish for you to stay well, and look forward to seeing you soon.
